I invite you to step into a world of Renaissance splendor and Baroque elegance. On this journey through the UNESCO-listed Český Krumlov Castle, I will help you look beyond the stone walls to find the living stories of the dynasties that shaped our history. To make our afternoon truly "royal," I've paired our historical walk with some of the finest sweet indulgences the town has to offer.

Inside the "Little Castle"

Together, we'll step back to the year 1253 as we explore the oldest and most exclusive section of the fortress.

Hidden Treasures: I'll show you my favorite pieces of rare Bohemian crystal, the intricate Renaissance furniture, and the fascinating reliquary of St. Reparata.
Family Secrets: We'll uncover the stories of the powerful families who called these halls home—from the Rosenbergs to the Schwarzenbergs.
Castle Cinema: We'll even watch rare, historical film scenes from the private archives to see how life used to look within these walls.

Iconic Views & Secret Corners

The Tower: We'll climb to the arcade gallery together for what I consider the definitive panoramic view of the winding Vltava River and the red rooftops below.
Architectural Wonders: I'll lead you across the massive Cloak Bridge and point out the hidden details in the Renaissance frescoes of the five castle courtyards.
The Gardens (Seasonal, April–October): We'll wander through the Rococo splendor, past the cascade fountain and our famous (and controversial!) Revolving Auditorium.
The Bears: We can't forget a traditional stop at the historic Castle Moat to say hello to our famous residents.

The Praline Tasting: We'll start our journey at a local boutique where you can sample handcrafted nougat, marzipan, and artisanal chocolate.
The "Sweet Dot" Finale: To end our day on a high note, I'll take you to a luxury café. You'll have a voucher for a gourmet coffee and a classic Czech pastry—I highly recommend trying the Větrník (a giant cream puff) or a delicate Laskonka!

Walking Conditions: Český Krumlov is famous for its charming but uneven medieval cobblestones. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe walking shoes.
Dietary Requirements: If you have specific dietary restrictions (e.g., vegan, gluten-free, or nut allergies) regarding the cheese platter, please inform us at least 24 hours in advance so we can prepare a suitable alternative.
Weather Policy: The tour runs rain or shine.
